The Lerakis family creates one of the first avocado
plantations in Chania. The mild climate of the region along
with the fertile soil of the Cretan land contributed to an
extremely successful flourishment of the sensitive tree.
Today, the annual production is approximately 15 tons and
is the main ingredient of Avoèl’s products.
